Two key members to the Blazer football teams 5-1 start are Defensive Lineman Damani Staley and Quarterback Jaylen Smith. Staley, a USC recruit, was recognized as the Columbia Touchdown Club's Player of the Week for the first week of the season, while Smith received Player of the Week honors for week two.
