ARTS: 17 Choir Members Selected to All-State Choir
Beginning on November 3rd, twenty-one Ridge View Choir members participated in four days of rigorous auditions along with 1,700 other students from across the state at the 2017 S.C. All-State Choir auditions at Cayce United Methodist Church. Seventeen of our choir members were selected to participate in the 2017 S.C. All-State Choir at Winthrop University in March. Congratulations to the following Blazers: Illia Dia (12th), Shawn Gibson (12th), Madison Arrington (10th), Emma Schaefer (10th), Myia Bacon (11th), Lauryn Wilson (10th), Maya Hannah (12th), Diamond Gaston (11th), Gabriel McFarlan (11th), K'nique Eichelberger (12th), Keron Darmanie (12th), Brock Jackson (12th), Bernard Hasan (11th), Caleb Cunningham (11th), Je'von Fickling (10th), and Karl Vogl (10th). Mrs. Erin Phillips, Choir Director, said "I am so proud of these students and their work ethic, determination, passion and dedication to perfecting their gifts. They have worked incredibly hard in order to be a part of this choir."
