Two Ridge View teachers have been awarded Sparkleberry Fair Grants this year. David Haas, English teacher, obtained funding to support a field trip for his students to a marionette show while Dr. Gordon Maynes was awarded funding to obtain advanced Vernier sensors to support new labs for his AP Chemistry. Ridge View would like to thank the organizers of the Sparkleberry Fair for these grants. Close to 100% of funds collected by the Sparkleberry Fair organization goes to educational grants and scholarships. This year, 35 grants were awarded out of more than 80 applications.
