ACADEMICS: DECA Students Achieve at State

Ridge View High School DECA students attended the 74^th Annual SC DECA Career Development Conference, at the North Charleston Convention Center, in North Charleston, SC, March 3-5th for a weekend of intense competitions and training.  The following students represented Ridge View and Richland School District Two against DECA students from across the state. Congratulations to the following students for doing an outstanding job in the following areas:

• Kaylan Cooper: 1^st Place in Principles of Business Management and Administration
• Devin Holder: 1^st Place in Virtual Business Challenge - Personal Finance, Challenge 1
• Jasiri Green: 3^rd Place in Accounting
• Devin Holder and Tyana Bing: 4^th Place in Business Law and Ethics Team Decision    Making
• Madison Herring: Top 10 in Human Resources Management
• Jocelyn Williams: Top 10 in Entrepreneurship Innovation Plan
• Keianna Benson: Voting Delegate, Marketing Communications Series.
• Devin Holder received the 2017 DECA Emerging Leader Honor Award from National DECA.
