On May 9th, Micayla Hayden had the opportunity to speak to the State Department of Education State School Board on behalf of increasing teen dating violence education in K-12 curriculums. Afterward, a group of Scholars Academy students including Lynnise Brown, Chris Kane and Mainaya Myers spoke to Superintendent Molly Spearman about their hopes for the program and future plans. We are all proud of what these students have accomplished this year!
