Her interest in this topic was sparked by the recent presidential election when many misunderstandings were expressed on social media regarding the outcome of the election. Myers used a survey sent out via social media platforms Twitter and Facebook. The overall results of the survey were positive and proved my hypothesis that government courses can increase individual political awareness.
