Imani Belton was the South Carolina representative on the East Conference Golf Team at the 14th Annual Down Under Sports Cup hosted on the Gold Coast of Australia this past summer. She was among 40 male and female golfers to compete in the All-American Golf Tournament at the Palmer Gold Coast Golf course in Queensland, Australia. Upon completion of the tournament, Imani received an award for having the longest drive among the female golfers. On the following day, she was among 64 male and female golfers to participate in the All-International Golf Tournament where she was paired with the top Australian male golfer due to her “long drive” recognition during the All-American Tournament. Despite the transfer of the trophy back to the Australians, Imani had an awesome experience golfing with the Australians and fellow Americans and surfing during a 3-day excursion to Honolulu, Hawaii before returning home.
