The Lady Blazer golf team had their first match on Tuesday, August 29 at Woodlands Golf Club against Spring Valley. It was a great first match but fell short by 10 strokes with a score of 242 to Spring Valley's 232. Imani Belton lead the Lady Blazers with a score of 46. The following day they played a tri-match with Irmo and River Bluff at Oakhills. The Blazers came in second by beating Irmo with a score of 227-273 and falling short to River Bluff 227-206. The blazers improved their team score by 15 strokes from the previous day. Imani Belton had her lowest high school career round of 41. The blazers fall to 1-2 on the season. Next match is Lexington today at Lexington Country Club.
