Student Council and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) are asking for your assistance with sponsoring foster children between the ages of 0 and 18 in the care of Richland County's Department of Social Services, as well as Ridge View Students. The goal this year is to sponsor 75 students. Individuals or groups can obtain a foster child contract from Student Activities or click the image to access the online version. Once the form is submitted, sponsors will receive a child's name and wish list and begin shopping for gifts totaling $60. In addition to purchasing gifts on the child's wish list, don't forget to purchase a teddy bear. All gifts and teddy bears must be submitted to Student Activities by Tuesday, December 12th. Our Foster Child Party final celebration with food Foster Child Party is Thursday, December 14th from 6:00 - 7:30PM in our Cafeteria Rotunda.
