WINTER WISHES: Help Us Meet Our Foster Child Sponsorship Goals
Student Council and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) are asking for your assistance with sponsoring foster children between the ages of 0 and 18 in the care of Richland County's Department of Social Services. 33 DSS foster children need a sponsor. All Ridge View students have been sponsored. Please help us reach our goal. Individuals or groups can obtain a foster child contract from Student Activities or the Main Office. Once the form is submitted, sponsors will receive a child's name and wish list and can begin shopping for gifts totaling $60. In addition to purchasing gifts on the child's wish list, don't forget to purchase a teddy bear. All gifts and teddy bears must be submitted to Student Activities by Tuesday, December 12th. Our Foster Child Party final celebration with food Foster Child Party is Thursday, December 14th from 6:00 - 7:30PM in our Cafeteria Rotunda.
