On October 16th The Ridge View High School Teenage Republicans Club had the honor to meet President Donald Trump. Club President Tobi Ariyo, VP Jared Banks, Club Secretary Vincent McClinton, and Public Relations Officer Christopher Tinneny were invited to Greenville South Carolina to meet POTUS by the South Carolina GOP. The club drove to Greenville - Spartanburg National Airport and awaited the President’s arrival. They waited for several hours before moving to the tarmac and watching Air Force One land. Once the President exited the incredible aircraft he and a swarm of Secret Service came over to the welcoming party. The first hand shaken of all welcomers was Ridge View’s own Vincent McClinton. Both Tobi Ariyo and Jared Banks got the President’s signature on their hats. All four of the students who went shook hands with the President of the United States. Chris Tinneny said meeting President Trump was a “breathtaking and incredible experience. It was an honor to meet the President.”. Vincent McClinton uploaded a video to youtube (link below) giving his first hand account to meeting POTUS. Click on the image to see what all four of the students experienced.
