Coach Eure is in his fourth year at Ridge View as the girls track & field head coach, but now he is a member of our amazing counseling staff. He is a Spring Valley alumni who was a two sport athlete (football & track). In his junior year of track he placed 5th in the 400m and was the leadoff leg for the Vikings State Champion 4×400 relay team. During his senior year he place 2nd in the 200m & 400m, and anchored their 4x100m & 4×400 relay teams that placed 2nd. Coach Eure was named All-Region and All-State in both the 200m and 400m. He is also USATF Level 2 certified in Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays and completed the Emerging Elite coaches training held at the US Olympic training facility in Chula Vista, CA.
Coach Eure also attended Clemson University. He was a four year letterman as a 200m and 400m athlete. During his junior year he was a part of Clemson’s NCAA Nationals qualifying 4x400m relay team. Before becoming a member of the Blazer team, he was working at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
