The National Science Honor Society is an organization of outstanding students who have a strong interest in science and strive to be the best they can be in everything they do. They play active roles in the community by working with EdVenture, Sesquicentennial Park, Rice Creek Elementary School, and Adopt-a-Road projects.
Congratulations goes to the 44 students inducted into the SNHS this month. Students who are interested in the SNHS must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher, complete a minimum of 30 hours of community service with 20 hours dedicated to science, refrain from any disciplinary infractions to include excessive tardies and absences, attend meetings regularly, participate in all SNHS activities, and demonstrate pride in Ridge View, peers, themselves, and in science.
