The Office of Pre-Professional Advising at the University of South Carolina is hosting a Pre-Med Prep Academy workshop specifically targeted for those students interested in medical school or another health professional school.
Knowing what to expect in college and creating a plan of action that incorporates work and activities that demonstrate compassion, leadership, teamwork, maturity, and a keen knowledge about their chosen profession will help them make a smooth transition to a pre-med/health college path. There will be discussion on the necessary academic groundwork, how to create a timeline for incorporating out-of-the-classroom work and activities and several upper-class USC pre-med students and USC medical school students will be available to share their secrets for success.
