Congratulations: Mrs. Little is named Midlands CATE Counselor of the Year
The SC CATE School Counselor of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding school counselor who exemplifies outstanding achievement in building and delivering a high-quality career guidance program educating the academic and employability skill set needs in high demand for 21st-century students. The school counselor exemplifies outstanding achievement in serving and support career and technology education students, faculty, and parents.
One finalist will be selected by each regional career specialist as aligned with the state’s Workforce Investment Act (WIA) regions.
A panel representing the SC Department of Education, Office of Career and Technology Education will review the finalists to select the SC CATE School Counselor of the Year. The award will be presented at the 2018 Education and Business Summit in June. Best wishes to Mrs. Little as she now competes for the SC CATE Counselor of the Year.
