Ridge View High School Student Council was recognized as a 2018 National Gold Council of Excellence. Earning the award was no small task and the students’ success is a testament to the leadership and support they are given by Dr. Mack-Foxworth and the Blazer family to the students and Ms. Wimmer, Student Activities Adviser. The RVH Student Council is an integral part of Ridge View and our educational mission.
In addition to receiving the 2018 National Gold Council of Excellence, Student Council received the following awards:
- 3rd place, Ridge View Rocks (inclusion) project,
- 3rd place, Senior Sunrise(spirit) project,
- 3rd place, Dr. Mack Sound of Music video,
- 2nd place, Dance, Dance, Dance (lunch dances in gym) projects
Victoria Jackson, Student Body President, was inducted into the Terry McCoy Student Council Hall of Fame and recognized for her State Office position and 7 years of service. Ms. Wimmer was recognized for 15 years of service. Congrats goes to Student Council and Ms. Wimmer for a job well done.
