The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, is coming to the Camden area from May 3 - 6. The display includes the names of the more than 5,800 U.S. service members who died during the Vietnam War. It will be located at the Camden Historical Site and open to the public 24-hous a day starting at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 2nd and closing at 1:30 pm on Sunday, May 6th,
In addition, American Legion Post #17 in Camden is looking for 110 volunteers to work 4-hour shifts, between 4:00 pm on May 2nd and 1:30 pm on May 6th. Volunteers may sign up at Signupgenius.com or call (803) 427-0470.
