Families of Students Taking AP Courses,
This is Mr. Ross. On behalf of Dr. Campbell and I, Ridge View High School’s AP Testing Coordinators, I am sharing some important information to advise you regarding AP testing. The tests have arrived, students have bubbled in their personal information on their answer sheets, and many teachers have begun the review process in preparation of the testing period, which is from May 7th through May 18th. I would like to make sure that you are aware that your child must arrive at their testing location 20 minutes before their scheduled start time. Tests will begin promptly at their scheduled times. Students taking 8am exams may need alternate transportation to get to school by 7:40am. 8am exams include: Chemistry, Seminar, Spanish Language, English Literature, US Government, German Language, US History, Biology, Music Theory, Calculus AB/BC, English Language, World History, Human Geography, and Microeconomics. Additionally, if your child is taking a test that begins at 12 pm, which includes: Psychology, Art History, Physics, Environmental Science, Computer Science Principles, Computer Science A, and Statistics we would like you to understand that your child could finish their exam late, and may require alternative transportation home from school on that day. Lastly, our Administration team will be hosting an Ice Cream Social for the students on Monday, May 21st at lunch in celebration of the efforts put forth by our AP students. If you would like to donate anything to this cause please reach out to myself or Dr. Campbell. We wish your child the absolute best on their exams. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Campbell or myself at 803-699-2999.
