ACTIVITIES: Ridge View's Student Council Wins at SCASC Convention!
This past weekend, twelve members and three advisors of Ridge View's Student Council attended the South Carolina Association for Student Councils Convention at Chapin High School. StuCo was recognized as a Gold Honor Council for the 12th year in a row, Student Body President Otiana Thompson was honored by joining the Terry McCoy Hall of Fame, and 2 of the 4 awards we submitted won! In the category of School Spirit, our submission for Bash the Bengal won third place. In the Recognition category, our project for National Principals Month won first place. Lastly, Yazmine Latimore was elected as the District 4 Vice Chair.
