Ridge View Boys had a dominant performance Saturday starting with the Relay team of Darren Williams, Logan Zei , Emmanuel Williams, Quentin Joseph, and Joshua Robinson kicked off the day winning the Varsity race in dominating fashion with the next relay almost a minute afterwards.On the JV side the relay of Xayveon Franks, Jalen Milhouse, Christopher Williams-Abney, William Bull , and Morgan Zeis won the JV relay in a thrilling to the wire finish. In the JV open race Emmanuel Scott took home the win with Zavier Osbourne moving from 10th to 5th place in the last 100 meters.
On the girls Side , the relay consisted of Senior Jada Mack , Junior Ashanti Johnson, sophomore Kaedance Quaye and freshmen Lanycia Taylor and Ketura Thomas finished top 10. In the open race freshmen Briana Mack, Kaliyah Langley, and Nia Donaldson both performed admirably.
“First off I’m proud of how the boys performed and the continuous improvement from our girls, but for our boys to go out there and not only compete but take it to teams such as Dutch fork and defending Region champs Westwood makes not only I but coach k happy. Having a Team that’s this talented from the # 1 guy to the 21st is amazing”, said Coach Stackhouse.
