The COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in unprecedented U.S. public health mitigation efforts, including stay-at-home orders and a shift to distance learning platforms. Dr. Stephen Cozza, Professor of Psychiatry, Uniformed Services University, will describe the fundamentals of disaster mental heal, that inform our understanding of the effect of pandemics on our communities. The strengths and unique challenges of military communities, families, and children will be highlighted along with the mitigation efforts that are in place.
