Walk To School Day Brings Fitness To RVHS

On Wednesday, March 4th, the RVHS Blazers participated in SC Walk to School day.  Over 50 students walked to school and received a healthy snack.  One student, Jamari Canteen, won a drawing for two tickets to Hi-Wire.  During the day over 700 students and teachers participated by walking to school and walking around our track.  We are continuing to focus on health and wellness by implementing "Walk Around the Track" events, posting wellness and fitness posters around the school, and challenging our teachers to exercise through a weekly competition.  We would also like to thank Hi-Wire for their donation.  And also encourage you to participate and read our monthly fitness posts.
