ACT Online Resources for Parents & Students

When it comes to making decisions about college entrance assessments, South Carolina high school students and their parents have a lot to consider -- test preparation, STEM scores, scholarship and college applications, possible careers, and assessment design.  There is so much information available online that it can be overwhelming for parents and students.  Click the image to review the most relevant information compiled by ACT.

ACTIVITIES: Winter Wishes goals update!

Thank you so much to all Ridge View students, staff, and community members who have contributed to the success of Winter Wishes so far! To date, we have met and exceeded all of our goals except for one. Right now we are pushing to reach each goal and we can't do it without your help!! Feel free to drop off canned goods to the school. You are also welcome to attend the Holiday Arts Festival on Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the large gym. Admission is $1 or 1 canned good item. In addition, students can clear dentition hours for non disruptive behaviors by bringing in three canned goods (or 6 packs of Ramen) to clear one hour. All items will be donated to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank and the final collection date is December 11th!! Contact Ms. Fennell at pfennell@richland2.org with any questions. Thanks for your continued support of Ridge View!

ACTIVITIES: Foster Child Party -- Huge Success!

Thanks to Ridge View students, staff and community members, we were able to sponsor 77 foster children this year. Children received their gifts at a party held just for them! There was festive decor, music, and games as they enjoyed their gifts. Special thanks to AVID, Freshman Class, Ms. Blakely, and Mr. McMicken for all of their hard work and planning! Santa Haas was in attendance and a good time was had by all!
