On September 14, 2013, the Ridge View High School drill and rifle
team will compete in the Midland Rifle Team league drill meet at Swansea High
School. The drill competition will consist
of the basic drill movements: squad without arms, squad with arms, platoon
without arms, platoon with arms, color guard. The rifle competition will consist
of two prone positions with ten shots at a ten-bull target.
The Greater Midlands
Drill/Rifle Team League consists of schools throughout the Midlands who
meet at a central location and demonstrate the hard work and dedication to the
sport of drilling and shooting. In addition, the Cadets have an opportunity to
converse with other JROTC members.

as they compete in their first competition of the season at 9am at 500 East First St,
Swansea, SC 29160.
