Auntie Karen's 11th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Conference is scheduled for October 12th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Benedict College. This one day event is for youth, ages 7 to 22, from across the state and region to teach skills in areas not traditionally afforded to them.
This year's theme is "The Art of Business." Subject areas include: identifying entrepreneurial skills, marketing your business, and understanding business finance tools. In addition, students will interact with community, business, sports and entertainment leaders. In addition to the conference, the "Successville" Youth Business Expo and Showcase, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Benedict College gymnasium.
