The Scholar's Academy's Academic Quiz Bowl team will compete in the Dorman Cavalier's Challenge this Saturday, January 18th, against 22 other high school teams from North and South Carolina. The team is divided into both junior and senior levels. Last year, the team placed fourth in the junior division out of 18 teams.
The team is comprised of Brianna Tennie, Grace Justice, Kathleen Arevalo, Brantley Carter, Anna White, Thomas Altman, Cleveland Smith, Chandler Bailey, Andrew Mariino, Thomas Drummond, Marie Arnold, Nissy Abrams, Schyler Horton, Myckenzie Horton, and Jammie Huyhn. The advisors are Mrs. Nicole Walker and Mrs. Laura Smith.
