ARTS Focus: Murray accepted to the National Youth Orchestra

Many students in the Arts strive to earn the highest possible honor in their respective field of Arts. Ridge View Junior, Daniel Murray, has accomplished just that. Murray was recently accepted to become a part of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) for its 2014 Season.

As a member of the NYO-USA, Murray will have the special opportunity to be a part of the orchestra's first United States tour, one that will introduce NYO-USA to its home audience in a  coast to coast journey.

"What a wonderful opportunity for Daniel to train with leading orchestra musicians," said Principal Brenda Mack-Foxworth. "This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I am so proud that he was selected because of the passion he displays for music."
