BlazerFest is currently seeking sponsorships, business contacts, and volunteers for the festival. BlazerFest is Ridge View's community spring festival sponsored by the RVHS Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 on our campus. Highlights will include live entertainment, children's activities, concessions, a showcase of Ridge View's success in regard to its major programs and extracurricular opportunities, displays from local businesses, workshops from public service organizations, and a presence by the local fire department, the Richland County Sheriff's office, and Fort Jackson.
We are seeking major retailers and large employers in our communities to participate. If you have business connections or contacts, please click here to access the "Festival Sponsor" letter to share with them. Our deadline for businesses to commit to BlazerFest is Friday, Feb. 28th.
We are seeking sponsorships at the following levels:
- Silver Stallion: $1,000
- Thoroughbred: $500
- Trailblazer: $250
Benefit details for each level are available in the attached letter. The types of companies that fit best for sponsors are:
- Major retailers like Walmart, Target and Academy Sports
- Car dealerships
- Hardware stores like Lowes & Home Depot
- Restaurants like Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Sonic and Wendy's
- Finer dining establishments like Arizona's, Mint Julep and Travinia
When you visit these retailers, please present a copy of the "Festival Sponsor" letter to them and then drop an e-mail to Gary Robinson at gary@1stprioritybdg.com and Dawn Dawson-House at ddawsonhouse@gmail.com so we can possibly follow up.
Additionally, we are seeking small or personal businesses that might be interested in showcasing their services. Please click here to access the "Business Booths" letter that we would love for you to share with others who may be interested in an opportunity to reach thousands of potential customers. There are 32 spots available. The types of businesses that fit best here are:
- Fitness centers and gyms like Gold's Gym
- Insurance agents
- Real estate agents or firms
- Avon or Mary Kay professionals
- Tutoring Services
- Churches seeking new members
Finally, we will have a booth at the Ridge View High School Open House on Tuesday, February 11th, and will share more details about BlazerFest. This will be the best time to sign up for volunteering.
