Beta Club is kicking off its spring service project "Rebel Against...Sanfilippo." This project is in support of Blazer Media Specialist Ellyn Parson's grandaughter, Eliza, who has been diagnosed with this rare, terminal disease that is currently without a cure. The Beta Club will be holding a six hour dance party with carnival like games on April 4th from 6 pm to 12 am. The goal is to raise $5,000 to fund research to cure this disease. All donations will benefit the CURE Sanfilippo Foundation, founded in Eliza's honor. Beta Club is challenging each club, organization, athletic team, and department to form at least one team of four to help raise funds. Registration is only $20 per team and includes admission into the dance party. You can also purchase individual tickets for $5 and pre-order a t-shirt for $12.
