The Gear Up program at Ridge View has four amazing students who will graduate on June 6 and then attend college this fall. What makes these students amazing is that they have accomplished all of this while being homeless. They have all received SCHOLARSHIPS so their tuition, and room and board are covered. What they need is money to purchase dormitory supplies such as sheets, pillows, towels, etc. - all of the little things that we take for granted when we have a home. The school social worker will take the students shopping to ensure that funds are utilized appropriately.
