ATHLETICS: Blazers Defeat Nation Ford in Football

Congratulations to the varsity football team on defeating Nation Ford by a score of 48-40 to improve to 2-2 on the season. This capped a great week for the Blazer football program after three Blazers were recognized by The State paper as Honor Roll Players for their efforts in the Week 3 win over Irmo. Making the honor roll were Defensive End Khalil Hopkins who had 12 tackles, a tackle for a loss, 2 fumble recoveries, and a fumble returned for a TD. Linemate Nasir Player was also recognized after making 11 tackles and causing a fumble. On special teams, Marcus Reaster-Glover was recognized for his 80-yard kickoff return for a TD.
