ACADEMICS: Eisenstein Mentors Scholars Research 1 Class
The Scholars Academy Research 1 class was fortunate enough to visit with Dr. Ann Eisenstein of the University of South Carolina's psychology department. Eisenstein, a noted YA author and practicing psychologist, spoke with the students about issues related to their advocacy project called Untie the Knot, an examination of factors that affect students' mental health state. She has agreed to serve as a mentor for the duration of their project. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership!
