| Bandmaster of the Year, Mr. Vince Clayton |
Last weekend at the South Carolina All State Band Clinic, Ridge View Band Director Vince Clayton was presented with the "Citation of Excellence" from the National Band Association, their highest honor for "inspiring and motivating excellence in musical performance" for the Ridge View Symphonic Band's concert at the South Carolina Music Educators Professional Development In-Service last month. In addition, the South Carolina Chapter of Phi Beta Mu, the International Bandmaster Fraternity, recognized Mr. Clayton as "Bandmaster of the Year." Congratulations Mr. Clayton! These honors are well deserved.
