We are celebrating the Month of the Military Child. Did you know that RVHS has just over 238 military connected students? These families move 6-9 times during their K-12 years. Forty percent of military kids will continue their family's legacy of service and decide to enlist in the armed forces someday. April has been designated as a time to recognized and appreciate military children for their service and sacrifice. Military children live with challenges presented by frequent moves, family separations, and life transitions that can include dealing with profoundly changed parents.
