The Ridge View High School Gabrielle “Gabbiee” Swainson Memorial Scholarship is established to honor former student, Gabbiee Swainson. She was a member of the BioHealth Magnet Program, a cheerleader, a Student Council member, an active member of Right Direction Church International, and an all-around amazing young lady. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who exhibited excellence in the areas of Academics, Service, and Leadership. Application Criteria:
- The scholarship is open to Ridge View High School seniors who will be attending technical colleges, two-year and/or four-year colleges in the fall of 2020.
- All applicants must complete the application form.
- Applicants will be judged on scholastic achievement, overall leadership, service, integrity and community involvement.
- Applications must be accompanied by a 500-word essay written by the applicant.
- The applicant must have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average.
- The applicant must be nominated and have one reference.
