ATHLETICS: Lady Blazers Set New 4 x 400 State Record
Congratulations to the Ridge View Girls Track & Field team on placing 5th overall at the State Championship Meet this past weekend, and for setting a new state record in the 4 x 400 Meter Relay. The team was led by Junior Arlicia Bush who won the State Championship in the 400 Meter Dash (54.42), placed 3rd in the 200 Meter Dash (24.50), and was a member of the 3rd place 4 x 100 Meter Relay (47.81) and the state record setting 4 x 400 Meter Relay (3:48.81). Junior Faith McKie placed 3rd in the 400 Meter Hurdles (64.34), and freshman Johnaida Eliscar placed 6th in the 400 Meter Dash (57.82).
