Earlier in the year, Major England applied for an received a grant from the National Rifle Association Grant Foundation. With a grant of $1,675, the Blazer Rangers were able to purchase their 2nd Precision Class rifle. The Anshultz 8001 Junior with laminated stock is one of the top level German-made air rifles on the market today. The precision class is both an NCAA and Olympic level sport. The Blazer Rangers Rifle Tea looks forward to putting it to good use next year as they begin to move into the top levels of the shooting sports. For those interested in joining the team, there will be a mandatory parent and student informational meeting on Wednesday, May 27th at 7 pm in B35 or on Tuesday, June 2nd at 7 pm in B-35.
