Kendrick Pressley was recently named Ridge View's head Boys Track & Field Coach. As a student at Sumter High School, Class of 2007, Pressley was a three sport athlete in football, basketball and track. In football, he started three out of four years and appeared in the state championship game once. He ran track for three years and qualified for the state championships every year as he excelled in the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay. In the 4x100, he and his teammates won a state championship, and they also qualified for the national championships during his junior and senior years. This is Coach Pressley's third year coaching football and track. For the past two years, the 2012 Kent State University graduate coached at Lakewood High School in Sumter. Coach Pressley will join Coach Warren Eure, who was recently named the girls head track coach, in leading the Blazer Track & Field programs.
