Here is what is going on at The View this week:
Monday, January 18
- School closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
- Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Heathwood Hall in the MLK Bash at Keenan High School at 2:30 pm.
Tuesday, January 19
- TV Clique Day. You and your friends can dress up as your favorite TV squad/group, ex. Rugrats, Proud Family Characters, etc.).
- Lunch Act: costume contest to determine which squad has the best costumes in the Main Hall. Costumes must abide by the dress code; cannot wear a mask or fully cover your face with paint.
- Wrestling vs. Lexington & Spring Valley at home at 6 pm.
- Girls Varsity Basketball at 6 pm & Boys Varsity Basketball at Lugoff-Elgin.
Wednesday, January 20
- "On Wednesday's We Wear Pink."
- Lunch Act: a screening of the film "Mean Girls" in the Auditorium.
- Junior Varsity Girls at 6 pm & JV Boys Basketball at 7:15 pm vs. Lugoff-Elgin at home.
Thursday, January 21
- That's 70's vs. Fresh Prince of Bel -Air" (1990's), ex. Throwback Day.
- Lunch Act: 70's & 90's dance "Rave" in the Small Gym.
- Kaplan Practice Test from 8am - 12 pm in the Multipurpose Room.
- Basketball: JV Girls at 5:30 pm, B-Team Boys at 6:45 pm, & JV Boys at 8:00 pm at Blythewood High School.Wrestling team at home against Barnwell & Lower Richland at 6 pm.
- The View Factor Talent Show presented by the Senior Class at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium. Ticket prices are $5 in advance & $7 at the door.
Friday, January 22
- "Proud Family" Blazer Pride Day.
- Lunch Act: mini pep rally.
- Varsity Girls Basketball at 6 pm & Varsity Boys Basketball at 7:30 pm at home against Blythwood.
- Cominghome King and Queen crowing at half-time of the Boy's Varsity Basketball game.
Saturday, January 23
- All-State Band Auditions at Lexington H.S.
- SAT Testing at RVHS at 7 am.
- Young Ladies of Excellence Mother and Daughter Tea from 10 am to 1 pm in the Multipurpose Room.
