ATHLETICS: McKie Signs Letter of Intent to Claflin
Senior Faith McKie signed a national letter of intent to attend Claflin University and to run on their Track & Field team. Last Spring, she helped the Track & Field team to place 5th overall at the State Championship Meet. Faith placed 3rd in the 400 Meter Hurdles (64.34), and ran on the state record setting 4x400 Meter Relay team (3:48.81) with teammates Arlicia Bush, Johnaida Eliscar and Lanaya Martin. This marked the second year in a row that McKie was part of a record setting 4x400 relay team that won a state chamionship. This All-State performer was also captain of the Cheerleading squad this year, and is a member of the BioHealth Magnet program. Congratulations Faith!
