One of the reports presented to the board was from Richland Two's Project CARE Coalition. The coalition works to create conditions that empower families, schools and communities to reduce substance abuse and other risk behaviors through different initiatives and projects. The Project CARE Coalition is funded by a $625,000, five-year grant from the Drug-Free Communities Support Program in Washington, D.C.
