The Cornelius Harvin Memorial Award is awarded to a Ridge View High School student-athlete that displays the qualities of selflessness, leadership, passion, joy and competitiveness. This award is the highest honor a Blazer student-athlete can earn during his or her time at Ridge View. This year's award winner completely embodies the qualities of Cornelius Harvin, one of the greatest student-athletes in Ridge View history. A multi-sport athlete, this young man has shown time and again his passion, joy, competitiveness and a genuine love for teammates. Earning the nickname "Quick Feet" from his time on the track team, this young man also excelled on the football field for four years and has earned a scholarship to play football at Newberry College. Congratulations to recent graduate Shemar Hinson on winning this award.
