Ridge View alumn Julio Iglesias has been named the new baseball coach at the View. Coach Iglesias says he is honored to be named head coach and thankful to Principal Dr. Brenda Mack-Foxworth and Athletic Director Brian Rosefield for the opportunity. “I will give it my all to make this program successful on and off the field. We have a great staff coming in with a variety of experience. There is a lot of work to do and we look forward to working hard to accomplish our goals,” he added. Rosefield describes Iglesias as an up and coming coach in the baseball world who brings a wealth of knowledge to the program. “Being a Ridge View graduate, Julio bleeds purple and I can't wait to see what he will do with our baseball program as he develops our students-athletes into better men and ball players," said Rosefield. Iglesias holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina.
