The National Electric Co-op's National Youth Tour group includes students across the United States of America to help make leaders of tomorrow. Each state nominates a group of talented individuals to go to Washington, DC for a week to meet our nation's leaders, learn our nation's history, learn how electric cooperatives work, and have an amazing experience. Megan Reardon, a Scholars Academy for Business and Law Magnet and BioHealth Magnet student, was a participant this summer. She stated, "I has been to Washington, DC many times before; but this time was something special. As a group we were allowed to participate in many new experiences that I have never done before.'
