The Ridge View Athletic Department is excited to announce that Terrence Gibson has been named the new Boys Tennis Coach. Coach Gibson is from Columbia, SC and a graduate of W.J. Keenan High School. He received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has coached our girls tennis program off and on since 2009. His tennis teams have made the state playoffs for 4 of the 6 years including the last 2 years in a row. Coach Gibson also serves as coach of the Girls Basketball team, which is currently ranked #2 in the state. He has been married to Latoashia Lancaster-Gibson for 9 years and they have a son, Terrence Gibson Jr., who is 7. There will be a meeting of all boys interested in playing tennis at Ridge View tomorrow during lunch in the small gym. Congratulations Coach Gibson!
