ATHLETICS: Basketball Program Receives Region Awards
Our Basketball program has had an excellent season. All five of our teams won the Region III-AAAA Championships and completed the region schedule with an astounding 47-1 record! The Varsity teams each had 3 players make the All-Region team. For the Lady Blazers, Laura Ajukwa, Armani Grice and Erica Tisdale were selected as All-Region while Tre' High, Wayln Napper and Kaiden Rice were named to the Boy's All-Region team. Grice and Rice were also named the Players of the Year. Waylyn Napper was named newcomer of the year. Furthermore, Terrence Gibson was named the Girls Region Coach of the Year and Yerrick Stoneman was named the Boys Region Coach of the Year. Congratulations hoopsters!
