The Ridge View Blazers qualified two wrestlers for the state championship wrestling tournament. Deon Wallace and Dejuan Warren were the first Blazers in ten years to qualify for the state tourney. Deon Wallace placed 3rd overall in the 126 lb. weight class. Deon is only the 7th Blazer to place at the individual state championship tournament since the school opened 22 years ago. For their combined efforts, Deon and Dejuan helped the Blazers place 19th out of 30 teams. Congratulations Blazers.
