The Girls Varsity Soccer team has been showing great tenacity and grit all season. Although their season has had some tough losses, the girls have been showing up day in and day out in pursuit of excellence. The message from Coach Burnett to the team this year is the future is bright for them and that the lessons they are learning through a difficult season will help them deal with the troubles life presents by developing a character that never quits. On March 28th, the girls dropped a tough 5-2 loss to Westwood, but the ladies took some big steps in learning more about the game. Cierrah Standifer and Veronica Cue scored goals and Hadiyah Ballard made some big saves. Keep up the effort Blazers!
