The Ridge View Varsity Football team pitched a shutout Friday night in a non-region contest blanking Union County 38-0. The game was held at Richland Two District Stadium #2. Jaheem Fordham dazzled defensively with two interceptions. The shutout was the first under Coach Perry Parks. Ridge View is idle this week and returns to action in region play next week against South Pointe. That game will be played on Thursday, September 28 at Richland Two District Stadium #2.
