ACADEMICS: Scholars Graduates Reunite for Advocacy Work
Recent Scholars Academy Magnet for Business and Law graduates Lynnise Brown, Madeline Hahn, Micayla Hayden, Chris Kane, Tierra King and Jesni Sam have spent the month of October mentoring the juniors in preparation for their October 26, 2017 to the Legislative Joint Committee of Children’s Issues. Hayden will represent the graduates speaking on behalf of the Teen Dating Violence bill that makes its way to the House this year, while the juniors will speak on Human Trafficking and other relationship issues.
